Große Olympiaschanze
The Große Olympiaschanze is a striking ski jump structure rising above the rooftops of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with its sleek white inrun tower cutting a dramatic diagonal line against the Bavarian Alps backdrop. You can photograph it from the valley below for wide establishing shots that include the surrounding mountains, or hike closer to capture the engineering details of the latticed steel tower and the steep outrun ramp.
