Halifax Public Gardens

Halifax Public Gardens are one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian garden in North America. They were founded by the Nova Scotia Horticultural Society in 1836 and were recognized as a National Historic Site in 1984. The Halifax Public Gardens comprise an entire block of the downtown core filled with intricate flower beds, peaceful walking trails and a beautiful gazebo. Note - while you are shooting within the gardens please do not walk on the grass. The established pathways of the gardens form lovely, educational walks and the views from them display the gardens as they were meant to be seen in the Victorian Era. (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada)
