Hayward House
Hayward House is a historic house at 9 Hayward Avenue in Colchester. Although it was built c. 1775, it has a number of late 19th century Victorian embellishments. The house was the home of 19th-century inventor Nathaniel Hayward, the founder and principal owner of the Hayward Rubber Company, and the developer of the process of vulcanizing rubber. -from Wikipedia
