About Hirosaki Park
Hirosaki Park, located in Aomori Prefecture, is one of Japan’s most celebrated cherry blossom destinations, centered around the 17th-century Hirosaki Castle. In spring, thousands of sakura trees bloom along moats, bridges, and walking paths, creating breathtaking reflections and pink canopies that draw photographers from around the world. Beyond cherry blossom season, the park remains photogenic with lotus-covered moats in summer, vibrant foliage in autumn, and a snow-covered castle in winter. Multiple viewpoints, including the castle tower and red bridges, provide varied compositions throughout the year. The park is easily accessible from Hirosaki Station by bus or on foot.
