Hughes' Enginehouse are the remains of one of the engine houses that used to run the Moonta Mines. Hughes Enginehouse was a classic Cornish Enginehouse, named after Walter Hughes and built in 1865. From 1861 to 1923 Moonta was a bustling town and employed so many people in the mines. (Moonta Mines, South Australia, Australia)
