Humantay Lake is a vibrant turquoise lake surrounded by massive snowcapped mountains. It’s about a 3-hour drive from Cusco to the Humantay Lake trailhead. You can easily hire a taxi in Cusco to take you right to the trailhead. The hike takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your level, and there are many photogenic views along the way.
