Independence Baptist Church

The Independence Baptist Church is a small white clapboard chapel at a quiet crossroads in the Independence community, just west of the Wabash River near Attica, Indiana. It's a classic historic chapel with a dark gabled roof and a square tower at the front. Ideally you can set up at the road junction and shoot chapel head on to capture the classic white against its surrounding greenery. This white exterior pops in warm, low light, so come either at sunrise or sunset when the sky colours up behind it. The congregation still meets here, so the grounds are well maintained with flower beds and a hand-lettered sign by the road. Since it is still an active parish its best to time your photography outing to avoid Sunday services. (Attica, Indiana, United States)
