Each year from Early November to the Thursday before Memorial Day this 12,095 pass closes for the safety of travelers and CDOT maintenance crews. During the rest of the year it winds its way through beautiful countryside as it leads you up to a stunning panoramic viewpoint. (Twin Lakes, Colorado, USA)
