Jardín de Cactus is a beautiful cacti garden that has been created in a former quarry at the village of Guatiza, Lanzarote. The garden is now home to 4,500 plants representing over 450 species of cactus and succulents from North and South America, Madagascar, and other desert/arid areas. The garden has been planted in the shape of a large amphitheatre, with the plants arranged in terraces. A restored windmill, once used in the production of gofio, stands at the highest point.
