Josephs Mine Dam

Josephs Mine Dam, also known as Josefův Důl Dam, is a peaceful reservoir tucked into the Jizera Mountains of northern Czechia. Surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills, the dam creates a calm surface that mirrors the surrounding landscape; ideal for capturing reflections, especially in the stillness of early morning or late afternoon. Seasonal changes bring variety, from autumn foliage to snowy winter scenes. A trail runs along the dam and around the water’s edge, providing easy access to multiple viewpoints without the need for a strenuous hike.
