Jubilee Bridge View
This pedestrian bridge spans the Singapore River just east of the Esplanade, giving you a clean, elevated vantage point over Marina Bay with unobstructed sightlines toward the downtown skyline, the Merlion, and the glittering towers of the financial district. Shoot from the mid-span railing to use the bridge's curved steel structure as a foreground element, or frame the Fullerton Hotel and ArtScience Museum together in a single wide composition. A 16-35mm lens handles the broad cityscape well, while a longer focal length lets you compress the skyline and isolate reflections on the water. Blue hour, roughly 20 to 40 minutes after sunset, is when the city lights balance perfectly with the fading sky, making it the most rewarding time to visit. The bridge is flat and easily accessible on foot from both the Esplanade and Fullerton sides, and there is enough railing space to set up a tripod without blocking pedestrians.
