About Kamenets-Podilsky Fortress
Constructed in the 14th century as part of the Kamianets defense system, it is the former capital of the Podolsk principality of the 14th - 15th centuries, the Podolsk voivodeship of the 15th - 18th centuries, and then the Podillya province ( 1793 - 1924 pp.). The fortress is an integral part of the National Historical and Architectural Reserve "Kamyanets" belonging to "Seven Wonders of Ukraine."
