Kasteel Bouvigne
The Bouvigne estate dates from the 15th century and comprises a fairy-tale castle encircled by a moat plus three beautiful gardens and an orchard. The castle often changed hands and repeatedly belonged to the bailiffs of the Princes of Orange. The beautiful gardens were inspired by the fashions of that era. The estate boasts gardens in the French, English and German style. The many fuchsia varieties and collection of sculptures are among the highlights. The orchard is located on the south side of the estate. The estate is accessible to the public free of charge from Monday through Friday. (Breda, Netherlands)
