Kavourotrypes, often called Orange Beach, is a series of small coves along the Sithonia coastline near Sarti in northern Greece. The area features turquoise water, pale rock formations, and scattered pine trees that reach close to the shoreline. Rather than one continuous beach, it’s a collection of intimate spots separated by rocky outcrops, offering a mix of elevated viewpoints and access to the water’s edge. The contrast between light colored stone and blue sea creates strong visual interest, while the natural shapes of the rocks help form layered compositions. Early morning and late afternoon bring softer light and richer color, while midday sun emphasizes the clarity of the water. It can get quite busy during peak summer months, particularly in July and August, so arriving early or visiting outside peak season helps avoid crowds. Access is via a roadside pull off with short paths leading down to the coves, making it a relatively easy stop along the coastal route. (Sarti, Halkidiki, Greece)
