Kegon Falls

Kegon Falls, located in Nikko National Park, is one of Japan’s most famous waterfalls, dropping an impressive 97 meters into a dramatic gorge. The falls are especially photogenic in autumn, when surrounding forests blaze with red and gold, and in winter, when parts of the cascade freeze into shimmering ice. An upper observation platform provides panoramic views, while an elevator leads to a lower deck for a closer perspective of the powerful flow.
