About Ko Panyi
Ko Panyi (Panyee Island) is a unique fishing village build entirely on stilts out in the middle of the Andaman Sea. The village sits next to an almost vertical limestone cliffs. The hundreds of huts, shacks, restaurants and houses where the villagers live are built on stilts over the surrounding shallow sea. Make sure to check out the floating football pitch, built by the village using old scraps of wood and fishing rafts. (Ko Panyi, Mueang Phang-nga District, Phang-nga, Thailand)
