Koopmanspolder is a unique nature reserve that is based around being a testing ground for the water management of the future. The everyday grassland outside the dikes has been redesigned by a visual artist. It looks like the whirlpool of an empty bath from above. With a flexible water level, the area has now turned into an interplay of nature, water, and landscape art. The area is generally open to the public from July 15 to October 15. Outside this period, the area is closed due to breeding and wintering birds. (Wervershoof, Netherlands)
