About Ladies Delight Lighthouse
The Ladies Delight Light is a small lighthouse on Lake Cobbossee, in Winthrop. It was constructed in 1908 and is believed to be the only active inland waters lighthouse in Maine. The lighthouse is well offshore on an island in the middle of the lake so it is only accessible by boat.
