Leuchtturm Bastorf
Leuchtturm Bastorf is a unique brick lighthouse that at first appears to be sitting in the middle of farm land. It's beacon still warns sailors of the Hannibal sandbank in the entrance to the Wismar Bay, because the light of the tower can still be seen 25 nautical miles away. The tower has a breathtaking panoramic view of the coastline and on a clear day over the Baltic Sea you can even look to the west as far as the island of Fehmarn. (Bastorf, Germany)
