Little Egypt Falls (Triple Falls)
Little Egypt Falls, also called Triple Falls or Bruce Creek Falls, is a scenic waterfall on Bruce Creek near Caryville in eastern Tennessee. The falls feature three distinct cascades flowing over layered rock ledges, creating a tiered waterfall that offers several photographic compositions. The upper, middle, and lower drops can be framed individually or together depending on vantage point along the creek. Mossy rocks, surrounding forest, and flowing water provide natural foreground elements that work especially well for long-exposure photography. After rainfall, the creek becomes more powerful and the cascades fill out dramatically, while calmer conditions allow for more detailed studies of the rock formations and water patterns. Reached via a short but sometimes rugged approach to the creek, Little Egypt Falls rewards photographers with a quiet and visually rich waterfall scene.
