Marija Snežna
Marija Snežna is a small mountain chapel located on the high plateau of Velika Planina in Slovenia. Surrounded by traditional wooden herdsmen huts and open alpine pastures, the chapel stands out with its simple form and steep roof, blending into the landscape. The setting offers clean compositions that combine architecture, rolling grasslands, and distant Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is especially photogenic in early morning light, during summer grazing season, or when mist moves across the plateau. The chapel can be reached by cable car from Kamniška Bistrica followed by a walk across the plateau. (Velika Planina, Slovenia)
