Marloes Sands
Marloes Sands has a huge expanse of golden sand stretching for over a mile at low tide. The beach is backed by cliffs with interesting rock formations making it a geologist’s dream. Low tide reveals rock strata that divide the beach up into numerous little bays and rockpools can be found at the western end of the beach. At high tide, the beach can disappear altogether so be sure to check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of sand to shoot and always be aware of the incoming tide. (Marloes, Wales)
