Moai A Vere

Moai A Vere is a single standing moai located near the larger Ahu Tongariki site on Easter Island (Rapa Nui). Positioned slightly apart from the main row of statues, it offers a different perspective compared to the more well known platform nearby. The statue stands in an open coastal area, with the Pacific Ocean just beyond and low grassland stretching inland. Its isolated placement makes it easier to focus on the details and scale of a single moai without the visual repetition of a full group. The surrounding landscape is flat and open, allowing for clear sight lines and simple compositions from multiple angles.
