Molino de Viento

Molino de Viento is a restored 19th century windmill located along the main road in the small settlement of El Molino de Viento, just outside Mogán on Gran Canaria. The whitewashed structure has been preserved and is now as a small open air museum, with surrounding details like cacti, simple displays and sculptures adding context to its original use. It sits directly beside the road, making it an easy stop when passing through the scenic valley. The windmill’s condition, accessibility, and setting within the dry valley landscape make it a straightforward and worthwhile stop without needing much planning.
