Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Nova is a historic Monastery that dates back to the 17th century and was built to replace the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, which was repeatedly hit by the Mondego floods. Visitors must pay a fee and be accompanied into the cloisters of the church by a guide.
