Mount Erie View
At 1300 feet, Mount Erie marks the high point of Fidalgo Island. While it's accessible via a winding road, the hike up to the summit is heart-pounding but filled with photogenic views if you are up for a challenge. The best viewpoint is tucked away adjacent to the Radio Tower - a sweeping view of Whidbey Island and Deception Pass with a bird's eye view of Lake Campbell and the tiny island in the middle of it. On a clear day you can watch the beautiful sunset over Mount Rainier, 160 miles south of Mount Erie. ( Anacortes, Washington, USA)
