The first mill on this site was built c. 1759. It was rebuilt in 1847 by James Maffet (Moffet) and again rebuilt in 1890 by Alex Grove. It was last run by water power in 1951 by James Kaiser. The headrace is still quite evident. (Muddy Creek Forks, Pennsylvania, USA)
