Neptuni Åkrar

Neptuni Åkrar - Photo by poh__photo1 / 1

It was Linnaeus who, in 1741, gave the expanse of shingle beach and undulating embankments here the name Neptuni Åkrar (Neptune's Fields), and the landscape certainly looks like it has been shaped by the sea god himself. This rugged waterfront stretched out with incredible rock formations, cliffs and fossils. This area is especially photogenic at sunset and would be a great spot to experiment with astrophotography.
