The Hermitage Palace in Bayreuth consists of remarkable historical buildings and pavilions. These are decorated with magnificent, partly gilded sculptures. The entire complex is located in a spacious castle park with an English and French garden. There are numerous grottos and fountains with gargoyles and timed water features. On a slope with stairs you can admire a cascading fountain. Immediately behind the shady arcades at the entrance is a huge round fountain with hundreds of water lilies. A self-service café with a terrace surrounded by historical architecture ensures a pleasant end to this visit. (Bayreuth, Germany)
