About New Point Loma Lighthouse
The New Point Loma Lighthouse, located near Cabrillo National Monument, was used in the movie top gun as the house of the character viper. The light house is currently still used by the coast guard and houses coastguard families. This shooting location is especially photogenic during sunset. (San Diego, California, USA)
