Nuttallburg Coal Tipple

Once a bustling coal-mining town in the 1800s, Nuttallburg became a ghost town after the coal was no longer in demand. Mining ceased completely in the 1960s but the old tipple, coking ovens, and heavy machinery are still there, rusting away and being reclaimed by the earth. There are old artifacts dotted around the trails and forest surrounding the Tipple, please leave those for others to discover and enjoy. (New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia, USA)
