Old Albany Cemetery
A historic cemetery that dates back to the 1700s can be found on the grounds of the Deerfield academy. Notably, this is the site of a mass grave of 48 colonists killed in a raid by Native Americans and the French in 1704. Full of picturesque old headstones in surprisingly good shape. A fascinating historic photography location for visitors to the area. (Deerfield, Illinois, USA)
