Old Craigellachie Bridge
The Old Craigellachie Bridge, built in 1814, is a historic cast-iron structure that gracefully crosses the River Spey near Aberlour in Scotland. Designed by Thomas Telford, the bridge features a single sweeping arch with lattice ironwork that creates strong geometric compositions. Set against wooded hills and the flowing river, it is an excellent subject for both architectural and landscape photography. The bridge is open to pedestrians, allowing for shots both on and around the structure, while riverside paths provide additional vantage points. Easily reached by road with nearby parking, it remains one of the most photogenic historic bridges in the Highlands. (Craigellachie, Aberlour, Scotland, UK)
