Oregon Film Museum
The Oregon Film Museum is a museum highlighting and celebrating movies that were made in the U.S. state of Oregon with a special focus on The Goonies, which filmed in the area. Housed in the former Clatsop County Jail, the museum offers a distinctive subject for photography with its classical stone exterior and barred windows. Inside, visitors will find interactive exhibits and memorabilia from numerous Oregon-made films. The exterior is especially photogenic, combining historic architecture with the cultural appeal of film history. Easily accessible in downtown Astoria, the museum is best captured in soft morning or evening light to highlight the building’s texture. (Astoria, Oregon, USA)
