Palais des congrès de Montréal
From its colour-popping window panels to its edgy art indoors, the Palais des congrès de Montréal (Montreal Convention Centre) offers many unique shooting opportunities. The impressive western façade of the building features over 300 panels of coloured glass that creates dynamic lighting both inside and out. The Centre showcases compelling landscaping and amazing artwork by some of Québec’s best. The 52 concrete pink trees of Claude Cormier’s Lipstick Forest provide a colourfully original addition to the interior, while the bronze fountain-sculpture and ring of fire, entitled La Joute by famed artist Jean-Paul Riopelle, anchors the adjacent urban park.
