The Palota Hotel was built to mimic a castle between 1927 and 1930. The Palota was opened on the 7th June 1930 and quickly became the favorite residence of high society guests as it acquired a reputation as a climatic recreation and health resort. The hotel stands in a pictureqsue location, high over the river surrounded by lush forest. (Miskolc, Hungary)
