About Pechuck Fire Lookout
Built in 1932 the Pechuck Fire Lookout was manned by the Clackamas-Marion Fire Protection Agency until the last staff person walked away from it in 1964. The lookout then went through a period of disrepair and vandalism until it was restored in 1993 by the Bureau of Land Management and volunteers.
