About Petit-Sault Blockhouse
Built in 1841 it was part of British defensive line during boundary disputes between England and the United States. Known as the Aroostook Bloodless War. The original blockhouse was destroyed by fire after a lightning strike in 1855 and was rebuilt in 2000 to the original specifications.
