Pewit's Nest
Pewit's Nest, located near Baraboo in central Wisconsin, is a hidden natural gorge carved by Skillet Creek and framed by striking sandstone cliffs. This compact but dramatic location features a series of small waterfalls and crystal-clear pools surrounded by dense forest, offering excellent opportunities for long-exposure shots and intimate nature photography. The trail to the gorge is short and easy, making it accessible for most visitors, though caution is advised around the slippery rock edges.
