Picture Lake
Tucked away in the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, the rugged Mount Shuksan rises over 9000’ above its reflection in Picture Lake. This small lake is surrounded by thick greenery and is especially photogenic on days when the wind is calm when the lake sits perfectly still. The best times to visit are during the early morning or late afternoon when the lake is calm, and the light casts a golden hue on the mountain.
