Pine Creek Gristmill
The Pine Creek Grist Mill has remained essentially unchanged since its opening in 1837. The mill was built by Benjamin Nye and supplied the local farm community with milling services converting their wheat to flour. The mill itself is situated next to a lovely artificial waterfall and a nearby bridge from the same period is just as photogenic. The Pine Creek Grist Mill is open for tours at certain times of the year. (Wildcat Den State Park, Muscatine, Iowa, USA)
