About Pink Lake
This small gem is a small pond with rich pink waters on the shoreline of Saraya Island, tucked away just off the beachfront of Al Rams Beach. The pink colours are caused by the salinity levels being extremely high, almost four times that of seawater, which causes an algae bloom. The richness of the pink colouring will change from day to day depending on the salinity of the water. (Ras al Khaimah - United Arab Emirates)
