Plaikni Falls
Plaikni Falls is a small, scenic waterfall located in the southeast corner of Crater Lake National Park. The falls cascade gently over a mossy cliff into a shallow pool, surrounded by lush vegetation and seasonal wildflowers. Unlike the dramatic views of Crater Lake itself, this spot offers a peaceful forest setting that works well for long exposure photography and close up nature shots. The trail to the falls is fairly easy, about two miles round trip, with minimal elevation gain. It is easily accessed from Pinnacles Road, making it a simple and rewarding stop within the park.
