This is an amazing spot to look out over the Poàs volcano crater and its surrounding landscape. Poàs is an active volcano (with activity in both 2017 and 2019) so this is the closest you can get to the crater summit. Laguna Caliente is one of the world's most acidic lakes and the bottom of this lake is covered with a layer of liquid sulfur. (Poas Volcano National Park, Costa Rica)
