Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Toulouse, spanning the Garonne River with a series of wide stone arches. Despite its name meaning “New Bridge,” it dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries and is built from the region’s characteristic pale stone. The bridge’s balanced proportions and distinctive openings above the piers create strong architectural lines that photograph well from the riverbanks. Reflections in the Garonne add depth, especially during golden hour when the stone takes on warm tones. Easily reached on foot from the city center, Pont Neuf is a key landmark for capturing Toulouse’s riverside character. (Toulouse, Occitanie, France)
