Ponte Visconteo
Ponte Visconteo, located in Valeggio sul Mincio in northern Italy, is a monumental 14th-century fortified dam bridge built by Gian Galeazzo Visconti. Though partially in ruins today, its massive stone walls and crumbling towers remain a dramatic presence across the Mincio River. Photographers are drawn to its atmospheric decay, lush vegetation, and mirror-like water that reflects the historic masonry.
