Praia do Magoito

Praia do Magoito is a broad sandy beach located along the rugged coastline near Sintra in Portugal. Backed by steep cliffs and open hills, the beach has a more remote feel compared to others closer to Lisbon. The wide shoreline provides plenty of space to move around, with waves rolling in from the Atlantic and creating changing patterns along the water’s edge. The beach sits just below Magoito village with a large parking area and paths leading directly down to the waterfront. The cliffs and elevated viewpoints above the beach offer additional angles looking down over the coastline, while the open setting allows light and weather to quickly change the mood.
