Preston Castle
Preston Castle is one of the oldest and best-known reform schools in the United States, dating back to the 1890's. It was closed in the 1960's and spent a few decades sitting empty. It is slowly in the process of being restored, you can tour the interior and learn about its coloured history. The renovations/restoration is not fully complete so there some areas still in quite rough shape. (Ione, California)
