Pumpkin Patch
The Pumpkin Patch is a unique landscape caused by wind and water continuously eroding the surface soil and revealing globular sandstone formations that look much like pumpkins in size and shape. On the nearby ridges, new pumpkin-size rocks continue to grow and be exposed. This area is a great spot to experiment with astrophotography. (Ocotillo Wells, California, USA)
