Qeysarie Gate is a historical entrance to the main bazaar of Isfahan and is registered as UNESCO World Heritage Object. The soaring gate is filled with an intricate mosaic to symbolize the majesty of the new capital and reflect the power of Isfahan merchants. The gate originally had 3 floors, but the third one was destroyed. It connected newly built Naqsh-e Jahan Square and ancient bazaar and became a true decoration of the northern part of the square.
